The Scottish IPT Network are pleased to announce:

Introductory Course in Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Four days 29th March – 1st April 2010 at St Leonards Hall, University of Edinburgh.

Cost £600

Course facilitators: Dr Lorna Champion, Dr Katherine Cheshire, Dr Patricia Graham, Prof. Mick Power, Dr. Matthias Schwannauer. We are also pleased to be able to announce that Prof. Scott Stuart University of Iowa USA ,will be contributing to the teaching in the first part of the programme. This four day course will provide a thorough introduction to IPT including the origins of the approach, background theory and consideration of new developments. Emphasis will be placed on helping participants to understand how to apply the model in clinical practice. The group of trainers in Edinburgh now have over ten years experience of providing IPT training and are actively engaged in both practising and supervising IPT in the UK and internationally.

Prof. Scott Stuart, University of Iowa, USA, co-author of Interpersonal Psychotherapy: a Clinicians Guide(2003) will be offering a MASTER CLASS IN IPT - SATURDAY 27th MARCH 2010 10am-5pm at Salisbury Green Hotel, University of Edinburgh.

Cost £100

The class will cover advances in theory relevant to IPT as well as innovations in the techniques and clinical application of the approach.
